MILFORD – Roger A. Elliott, 69, of Milford, and formerly of Nappanee, passed away Feb.28, 2012, in Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare.

He was born Feb. 2, 1943, in Elkhart, to Arthur and Lois Hartman Elliott. On Feb. 24, 1989, he married Janice Losee, who survives.

He served his country in the U.S. Army and was a truck driver. He retired from Flexsteel and worked for Chore-Time for several years. He enjoyed the outdoors, mushroom hunting, fishing, racing, woodworking and collecting Coca Cola memorabilia. He loved his family and really enjoyed it when they all got together.

Also surviving are four children: Rusty (and spouse Rochelle) Elliott, Goshen; Mindy (and spouse Gary) Hall, South Bend; Misty (and spouse Matt) McBride; Goshen; and Tracy Eppert, Elkhart; and nine grandchildren: Sgt. Zechariah, Stephanie, Laura and Travis Elliott; Ethan, Grace and Julianne Hall; and Heather  and Gwyndolyn McBride; and two more on their way;  four sisters: Martha (and spouse Oscar “Pee Wee”) Russell, Milford; Sue (and spouse Mike) Steller,  Cromwell; Lea Kennedy, Three Rivers, Mich.; and Tina (and spouse Westley) Welty, Goshen. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford, with Pastor Mike Kelly officiating.
