NORTH MANCHESTER – Rodney D. Azbell, 48, of North Manchester, died at 1:45 a.m. April 18, 2011, in his residence. 
He was born Aug. 11, 1962, in Wabash, to Merrill and Grace Manns Azbell. In 1985, he married Lisa Sandberg, they later divorced.
During and after high school, he worked at Brodbeck Seeds, Wabash. He then owned and operated Newlook Lawn Care, Wabash,  for seven years. From 2004-08, he worked in the maintenance department at Timbercrest Retirement Community, North Manchester. He was a member of First Brethren Church, North Manchester. He graduated from Northfield High School in 1981.   
Surviving are a son, Brigham D. Azbell, Wabash; a daughter, Danielle (and spouse Derek) Shenefield, Wabash; his mother, Grace Azbell, North Manchester; a brother, Steven A. Azbell, Laketon; a sister, Teresa A. Miller, Fort Wayne, and a grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Brethren Church, North Manchester, with Pastor Kurt Stout officiating.
Calling is from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.
McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, is in charge of arrangements.
