Roberta Mae Kreis, 81, of Claypool, died at 12:20 p.m. Feb. 18, 2011, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

She was born Jan. 24, 1930, in St. Louis, Mo. On April 15, 1948, in Rolla, Mo., she married Verle Burton Kreis, who survives.

Living in Kosciusko County since 1950, he was a packer at Owens-Illinois-Kimble Glass, Warsaw, retiring in 1995.

Also surviving are a daughter, Beverly (and spouse Garry) Miller, Claypool; a son, Greg Kreis, Talma; five brothers: Russell (and spouse Joyce) Lister, Vida, Mo.; Bob (and spouse Leota) Lister and Bill (and souse Lois) Lister, all of Rolla, Mo.; Don (and spouse Merdina) Lister, Silver Lake; and Henry (and spouse Carol) Lister, Sebring, Fla.; four sisters: Janet (and spouse Russell) German, Waynedale; Norma Jean Walker, Albiene, Texas; Marge (and spouse Ron) Hudek, Buffalo Gap, Texas; and Nancy (and spouse Bob) Alexander, Columbia City; two grandchildren, Chad Kreis, Warsaw, and Jada (and spouse Keith) Hill, Claypool; and three great-grandchildren, Devin and D'Marcus Brown and D'Anthony Hill, all of Clayool. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Emily Stevenson, Rolla, Mo.; and a grandson, Scott Kreis, Warsaw.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with Pastor Mick Tomlinson officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Claypool.

Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
