MARION - Roberta L. Jackson Hungerford, 90, died March 1, 2010, in Grace Village Health Care, Winona Lake.

She was born Oct. 26, 1919, in Marion, to Roe Raymond and Edna Devona Trostel Riley. She was married to Harold E. Jackson and then John W. Hungerford. Both preceded her in death.

She was a secretary for Marion Community Schools and the YWCA. She was a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church, Marion.

Surviving are a son, Samuel A. (and spouse Pauline) Jackson, Jacksonville, Fla.; a daughter, Sue (and spouse Tom) Heuer, Warsaw; three step-sons, Jack Hungerford, David Hungerford and Ken (and spouse Kathryn) Hungerford; a step-daughter, Carol (and spouse Mike) Barnes, Fort Wayne; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson. She was also preceded in death by a brother.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, Marion, with the Rev. Kaye Patton officiating. Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
