NAPPANEE – Robert Wade Blosser, 90, of Nappanee, died at 8:30 p.m. March 5, 2013, in Miller’s Merry Manor,   Wakarusa.
He was born Nov. 17, 1922, in Kosciusko County, to Roy P. and Orpha E. Kring Blosser. On Feb. 23, 1946, in Milford, he married Phyllis J. Watkins, who survives.
He was a 1940 graduate of New Paris High School and  a lifetime member of Turkey Creek Church of the Brethren, Nappanee. He was a farmer, living and working on the family farm his entire life.
Also surviving are two sons, Dennis L. Blosser and Brad D. (and spouse Janene) Blosser, all of Nappanee; a daughter Vicki (and spouse Ron) Wedel, Nappanee; three grandchildren; a step-grandson; five great-grandchildren;   and two sisters, Phyllis Beer, Nappanee, and Lonita (and spouse Ray) Cheechio, Elkhart. He was preceded in death by a step-grandson.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the former Turkey Creek Church of the Brethren, Nappanee, with the Rev. Roger Eberly officiating. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at  Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.
