Robert Marcus Stephenson II, 56, of 4980 E. Duffin St., Columbia City, died at 4:11 p.m. March 9, 2009, in Parkview-Whitley Hospital, Columbia City.

He was born April 22, 1952, in Grand Rapids, Mich., to Robert Marcus and Marjorie Constable Stephenson, who survive in Port Charlotte, Fla. On April 10, 2007, he married Karen Bradway Felger, who survives.

Living in Whitley County for the past four years, he was a facilities engineer with Easter Seals ARC of Northeast Indiana for the past two years.

Also surviving are three sons, Robert (and spouse Kelly) Stephenson III and Chad and Craig Stephenson, all of South Carolina; two stepsons, Dustin (and spouse Mary Jane) Bradway, Port Ritchey, Fla., and Robert Dillon, Columbia City; three stepdaughters, Thea (and spouse Eric) Wagoner, Warsaw, and Amanda Deutsch and Tammy Walters, both of Columbia City; three grandchildren; 16 step-grandchildren; and a sister, Deb (and spouse Rod) Mowery, Bremen.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Salvation Army Chapel, 501 E. Arthur St., Warsaw, with Pastor Eric Wagoner officiating.

Calling is one hour prior to the service Thursday at the Salvation Army Chapel.

Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangement.
