Robert Jay Lambert, 53, of Warsaw, died at 8:35 p.m. March 26, 2010, in his residence.

He was born Jan. 5, 1957, in Pittsburgh, Pa., to Leon and Joan McLean Lambert. On Jan. 2, 1982, in Gibson City, Ill., he married Pam Rost, who survives.

Moving to Warsaw from Massachusetts 22 years ago, he was quality manager at Zimmer Inc., retiring in 2004. He was a graduate of the University of Illinois in 1979, and was an avid fan of the university.

Also surviving are two daughters, Amanda and Meredith Lambert, both of Warsaw; a brother, Richard Lambert, California; three nieces, Sarah, Jenny and Suzy; a nephew, Jascha; and a great-nephew, Joshua. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Janet Reyes.

No services or calling are planned.

McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
