Robert Floyd Huffman, 65, of Casselberry, Fla., and formerly of Warsaw, passed away Feb. 12, 2013, from injuries suffered in an accident while riding his bicycle.
He was born July 12, 1947, in Plymouth, to Lloyd and Marjorie Swank Huffman. On Dec. 23, 1966, in Warsaw, he married Diann Young, who survives.
He was a 1965 graduate of Mentone High School and was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged. He worked at R.R. Donnelley & Sons Inc. for 36 years, retiring in 2002 as an engraver. He attended Warsaw Community Church. He loved riding his bicycle and rode more than 50 miles a day. He also enjoyed playing shuffle board.
Also surviving are a daughter, Lisa (and spouse Michael) Shaw, Casselberry; four grandchildren: Raymond, Melinda, Ellen and Max; a brother, Jim Huffman, Lancaster, Pa.; and six sisters: Diane (and spouse Fred) Dorell, Coni Doberstein, Barbara Dove and Becky (and spouse DeWayne) Busz, all of Warsaw; Carol (and spouse Greg) Groninger, Midland, Mich.; and Patty (and spouse Steve) Shively, Bourbon. He was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Huffman, who died Jan. 4, 1993; and infant daughter, Diann Huffman; and his father, Floyd Huffman, who died Feb. 18, 1966.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Jeff Pfeifer of Warsaw Community Church. Burial will be in Harrison Center Cemetery, Etna Green.
Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Military honors will be by members of Warsaw’s American Legion Post 49 and Veterans of  Foreign Wars Post 1126.
