He was born on Sept. 22 to Simon and Florence Schrader. On Nov. 17, 1984, he married Melicent Clase Schrader, who survives in Sebring.
He was a former vocational director for Warsaw Community High School, retiring in 1992. He was a marketing teacher, a DECA coach, and coached high school baseball in Lansing, Mich., before moving back to Warsaw to coach at WCHS. He served four years in the Air Force in the Korean War. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Warsaw and Sebring.
Also surviving are a son, Dan Schrader, Warsaw; a stepdaughter, Tracey (and spouse Kerry) Rose, Warsaw; a stepson Doug (and spouse Raeann) Blue, Orange, Calif.; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his twins.
Graveside services will be held at another date.
