Road Crews

First off, I believe that the state and county highway departments have done a very good job this winter.

Last snow storm, we received 17-plus inches of snow and we were back out and driving the next day. I'm surely not going to complain about that considering I do not have four-wheel drive and live outside city limits. I was not expecting to be plowed out for at least one to two days, and to my shock it was within hours.

If you don't like the road conditions, then you shouldn't drive on them. If you give yourself extra time to get somewhere, get stopped, etc., and know how to drive, then you will not have any problems maneuvering on Kosciusko County roads.

To all of the people involved in cleaning up our roads, I would like to take the time to say thank you. I appreciate all of your long hours and hard work. I would think everyone would be grateful for their hard work considering they were working, at times double shifts, and were definitely suffering from a lack of sleep just to keep plows going for what obviously was a few ungrateful people.
