Rita Ann Rohrer Sabo, 56, Mentone, passed away at 3:45 p.m.  March 9, 2016, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 4, 1960, in Warsaw, to N. Leon Rohrer and Lois Karen Method McCourt. On Sept. 24, 1977, she married Jimmie Lee Sabo Jr., who survives in Mentone.
She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, where she was a 1978 graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School. She worked in housekeeping for a number of years at Grace Village Retirement Community, Winona Lake, and Mason Health and Rehab, Warsaw. She also worked for Kosciusko County. She enjoyed NASCAR, NFL football, gardening, sewing, but most of all she enjoyed her friends and family.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Derek Sabo, Warsaw; three daughters: Erica (and spouse Tobby) Wright, Warsaw; Ashley (and spouse Everett) Holt and Shelly (and spouse Keith) Hartman, all of Mentone; nine grandchildren: Brianna LouAnn Tuttle; Ocean Cheyenne Sabo; Alyssa Renee Sabo; Andrew J. Martin; Jasmine Renee Sabo; Romie Alexis Martin; Savannah Rae Holt; Skylar May Hartman, Ethan Levi Hartman; two brothers, Michael (and spouse Lily) Rohrer, Rochester, and Jeffrey (and spouse Melanie) Rohrer, Claypool; her father, N. Leon (and spouse Darlene) Rohrer, Claypool; and her mother, Karen McCourt, Claypool.
A memorial service celebrating Rita’s life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Michael Rohrer officiating.
