He was born Sept. 19, 1953, in Paintsville, KY., to John and Phyllis Hyden Honeycutt.
He lived most of his life in Kosciusko County where he worked for Par-Kan, Silver Lake, as a welder. He was a member of VFW Post 1126 and American Legion Post #49, Warsaw.
Surviving are three sons: Ricky and J.J. Honeycutt, both of Tennessee; Ronnie Honeycutt, Louisville, KY.; three brothers: Jerry and John Honeycutt, both of Kentucky; and Ernie Hyden, Shelbyville; two sisters, Erma Davis, Warsaw, and Nina Holbrook, Ky.
There is no visitation or services planned at this time.
McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, was entrusted with arrangements.
