PEORIA, Ill. - Richard Glen Bozarth, 76, of 5808 W. Farmington Road, Peoria, Ill., died Feb. 18, 2009, in Farmington Manor Nursing Home.

He was born April 30, 1932, in Peoria, to Edward and Helen Thompson Bozarth. On March 17, 1956, in Peoria, he married Myrna Small, who died Sept. 6, 2002. On Nov. 9, 2007, in Peoria, he married Beverly McIntyre, who survives.

He retired in 1972, after serving 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. He was a flight engineer, mechanic and instructor.

Also surviving are his children: Shelly (and spouse Doug) Hudson, Mexico, Ind.; Richard Allen (and spouse Karen) Bozarth and Tatiana Bozarth, all of Warsaw; Brian (and spouse Starr) Bozarth, Willow Springs, Mo.; and Stephen Bozarth and Stanley (and spouse Paula) Bozarth, all Brighton; his stepchildren: Pam (and spouse Cliff) Jacobson, Mapleton; Ann Fabish, Canton; Pat (and spouse Renee) McIntyre, Peoria; and Bryan McIntyre, Bartonville; six grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a sister, Patricia (and spouse Bob) Hurst; and a brother, Ronnie (and spouse Nancy) Bozarth, St. Cloud, Fla. He was preceded in death by his parent and a brother, Robert.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Cumerford-Hurd Funeral Home, Peoria. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery with military rites.

Calling is from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
