Richard E. Glover, 93, of Warsaw, died Nov. 17, 2007, in Mid-West Hospice, Skokie, Ill.

He was born Aug. 18, 1914, in Veedersburg, to Berle Emerson and Sadie Alberta Quiggle Glover. On Jan. 29, 1949, in Champaign, Ill., he married Evelyn Ann Pearse, who died June 17, 2001.

Moving to Warsaw from Kokomo in 1958, he owned and operated Glover Furniture Store, Warsaw, for 20 years. He was in the Signal Core with U.S. Army, serving in World War II. He graduated from Veedersburg High School in 1932.

Surviving are a daughter, Jane (and spouse the Rev. Joseph) McInnis, Wilmette, Ill.; two step-grandchildren, Katie McInnis, West Lafayette, and Joey McInnis, Columbus, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Herbert and Robert Glover; and a sister, June Glover Gross.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, Warsaw, with the Rev. David Heim of First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church
