ALBION – Richard E. Clark, 81, of Albion, died June 17, 2013, in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
He was born Sept. 3, 1931, in Palestine, to J. Sylvester and Fannie Mae Warren Clark. On Aug. 17, 1951, in Warsaw, he married N. Joyce Clark, who survives in Albion.
He lived most of his life in Warsaw and moved to Northridge Village Nursing Home, Albion, four years ago.
He retired as a security guard from Da-Lite Screen, Warsaw, and also dabbled in heating and air conditioning.
He served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was an avid fisherman, reader and used to hunt morel mushrooms. At the nursing home, he enjoyed reading, playing games, such as bingo, and he used to bowl.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mary (and spouse Joseph) Seagrave, Delphi; three sons, Dan (and spouse Linda) Clark, Silver Lake, and Jeffrey A. and Richard L. Clark, both of Warsaw; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Alden and Robert Clark. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Brazzell Funeral Home, Albion Chapel. Cremation will take place after the service.
Calling is from noon until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
