He was born May 28, 1944, in Bad Axe, Mich., to Edward E. and Elsie O. Bredow Pawlosky. He married Rosalie Pawlosky, who preceded him in death. On March 19, 1988, he married Terri Van Prooyen, who survives.
He lived in North Webster for 16 years, coming from Highland. He worked as a district sales representative for Maytag Corp., retiring in 1999. He was a very dedicated employee for Maytag, and was always friendly and outgoing to those he met and knew. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and restoring classic wooden boats. He was a member of North Webster United Methodist Church.
Also surviving are six daughters: Patricia Stockstell, Matteson, Ill.; Susan Pawlosky, Indianapolis; Pamela Waldrop, Crown Point; Kelly Caldwell, Fort Wayne; Joellen Dykstra, Highland; Jeanine Kinzie, Dowagiac, Mich.; two sons, Erik Haniford, Crown Point; John Van Prooyen, Chicago, Ill.; a brother, Paul Pawlosky, Ottisville, Mich.; a sister, Mary Brown, St. Clair, Mich.; and 11 grandchildren.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse, with Pastor Scott Mann officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date.
Calling is 1-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
