Matron of honor was Wendy Kaylor, Warsaw.

Best man was Daniel F. Bendt, son of the groom, North Liberty.

A dinner reception was held at The Boathouse Restaurant, Winona Lake.

The bride was formerly employed by the Times-Union. She is a 1962 graduate of Lebanon (Ohio) High School and received her bachelor's degree from Indiana Wesleyan University, Marion, in 1988.

The groom is employed by Mittal Steel, Burns Harbor. He is a 1967 graduate of Merrillville High School.

On a night where the Warsaw football team was honored before the game, another Tiger team with high expectations going into the season made its 2024 debut. The Warsaw boys basketball team tipped the season off at the Tiger Den against Columbia City, and after battling for the better part of the game, the home side pulled away in the final minutes to win the opener 62-53.
