As a former member of the community, I look back at my home town in hope. Hope that I will be accepted back home and allowed to give back to the community that I've taken so much away from.

I'm currently in the Indiana Department of Corrections in Westville, Ind. This is where I deserve to be based upon my actions. Now my current goal is to prepare Warsaw for my return. Unlike my inmate brothers here at Westville, I plan to not only live by the law but to teach the youth of Warsaw why it's important to abide by the law.

The town of Warsaw and Kosciusko area is so beautiful. It is a wonderful place to be raised and like any community we have crimes committed. My plan is to help the youth understand the effects of one wrong move. Hopefully this will create a stronger future for my home town and decrease the crime rate in the future.

I take pride in being a Warsaw Tiger and this town contains a lot of tradition, a lot of amazing families and a constantly growing environment. My mother, Terri Taylor, was well aware that Warsaw would be an effective area to raise her children. Healthy and safe living. I thank her for that.

I love and miss my home in Warsaw dearly. I have a lot of remorse toward the family I hurt due to my actions. I promise to the ones who care to read this, I will make it up to you and so many more.

My name is Antonio Castillo, I'm 22 years of age and I intend to do more than help the youth. I intend to help our community grow in a positive direction by leading as an example. Thank you, Times-Union, for helping me start my journey. God bless.
