    Hoosier Water Co., Inc. recently hired a new superintendent and recognized a 30-year employee. Joe Dock, Warsaw, has been named Superintendent of Hoosier Water Co., Inc. Fred Dorell, Warsaw, received his 30-year pin from the Indiana Department of Environmental Management for water services.

    Steven A. Devenney has been promoted to the position of field supervisor with Penguin Point Systems, according to W.E. Stouder, president.

Devenney, who has worked at Penguin Point number five in Warsaw since 1966, will supervise restaurant operations in the Indiana area covering Goshen, Warsaw, Wabash, Marion and Huntington.

    Warsaw high school's bend won first prize among the class A contestants Saturday afternoon in an hour and one-half parade which climaxed the DeKalb country free fair at Auburn.

In addition to being judged the best class A band, Warsaw's musicians, directed by Bazil O'Reilley, also won a prize for having traveled the longest distance to the fair among the class A bands. Donna Ford, Warsaw's drum major, won second prize in competition with other drum majors.

    Five members of the Goshert family posed for a picture here yesterday. The four older members averaged over 90 years in age. the quintet of brothers and sisters included, Jemima Linn, 90, of Orion, west of Warsaw; Elizabeth Ferguson, 91, Warsaw; George P. Goshert, 89, St. Louis; David Goshert, 87, Atwood; and Harvey Goshert, 71, Goshert.
