    A CCTV machine, which enlarges the print of books and documents, and can project images on either white or black backgrounds, has been donated to the Warsaw Community Public Library by the Warsaw Lions Club. The machine, which is designed to help people with vision impairments, was acquired with the help of Dr. Joe Thallemer.

    Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Warner, Claypool, will celebrate the 50th anniversary of their marriage with an open house Sept. 29, at the Claypool Lions Building.

The Warners are the parents of five children: Robert and Betty, both of Claypool; John, of Anderson; Marie, of Warsaw; and Gene, at home.

    The North Webster Methodist Sunday school, the first one established in Tippecanoe Township, will observe the 100th anniversary of its founding Sunday with a day-long program featuring Rally Day exercises and a homecoming for school superintendents and former Sunday school members of the North Webster community.

    The Rotary Club at its luncheon today heard a very interesting talk from Ray Henderson a member of the Kiwanis Club of Warsaw, on his experience during his 10 years' stay in Alaska. In his description Mr. Henderson told of many interesting incidents, including his escape from the "largest bear" in Alaska.
