    Wawasee High School Homecoming King and Queen for 1989-90 are Mike Bailey and Janelle Jennings. Mike, a senior, is the son of Steve and Connie Bailey of Leesburg. Janelle, also a senior, is the daughter of Robert and Karen Jennings of Syracuse.

    Kacy Klondaris was crowned Homecoming Queen at Warsaw Community High School Friday night. Klondaris is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Klondaris, of 16 Fairlane Drive. Don Whitcomb was named Homecoming King during the evening's festivities.

    Everett E. Rookstool, Beaver Dam, has captured a number of 4-H honors at the International Dairy Exposition at Indianapolis by exhibiting a 3-year-old Holstein cow, it was reported by the county agent's office.

Rookstool captured a blue ribbon in the Gold Medal class, a second in the 4-H class, a second- place ribbon for showmanship and a green ribbon for having bred and raised the Holstein.

    Growing potatoes at the rate of 478 bushels per acre is the record made by Fred Robbins, a high school boy in the Pierceton vocational class. Robbins is one of about 15 boys who took up potato growing as a project in connection with their school work in agriculture.
