    John and Darlene Bauman will be celebrating the grand opening of their store, Bauman Stoneware studio/gallery on Nov. 18 and 19. The store is at 1506 CR 225W in Warsaw, featuring a decorative arts gallery where visitors can watch the wheel-thrown stoneware and porcelain pottery being made. The Baumans will also be introducing the works of other professional craftsmen including watercolors, weaving, tin smithing, ironwork and basketry.

    Jay Stackhouse, of Rochester, has been named methods and standards engineer for DePuy Manufacturing Co., according to James A. Collier, the company's manufacturing manager.

Stackhouse's responsibilities will include re-evaluating processes, developing processes on new products, maintenance of production standards and developing new equipment.

    Bill Mollenhour, of The Times and Union and WRSW advertising staff, will be aboard an airplane Friday when Indiana aviation officials will formally dedicate a new airline for Indiana and Michigan - the newly certified Roscoe Turner Airlines, of Indianapolis.

The first flight of the airline will be made at 8:15 o'clock Friday morning, starting from Weir Cook airport at Indianapolis.

    A freight train composed of a total of 124 cars passed through Warsaw over the Pennsylvania Railroad at 10:45 o'clock Thursday morning. This was one of the longest trains to pass over the Fort Wayne division between Fort Wayne and Chicago, according to C.O. Daviss, gateman at the Buffalo Street crossing.
