    The Atwood Senior Greyhounds Club was the guest of Atwood Elementary School this week. Grandparents of students ate lunch and visited classrooms. Jessie Robinson ate with her great-granddaughter, fourth-grader Tracy Truex. Robinson's children, grandchildren and now great-grandchildren all have attended Atwood School.

    Darrell Cox won the Boys Club State Spelling contest in the 12-year-old and underage group Saturday in Indianapolis. Thirteen clubs from around Indiana competed in the contest.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Cox and attends sixth grade at Washington School.

    A few items on sale at A&P Food Stores this week are: Chum Salmon, 45 cents a tall can; six bottles of Coca-Cola, 25 cents; Jory Boysenberries, 23 cents for a No. 2 tin; and Crunch Angel Food Bar Cake, 39 cents each.

    Glenn Smith, of Warsaw, has the undisputed-to-date mushroom championship for 1924 in Kosciusko County. He produced 409 and exhibited them yesterday at The Times office.
