    Wawasee named its most valuable athletes at Monday night's winter sports banquet. Recipients of the MVP awards are Bobi Stookey, Girls' Basketball MVP; Karen Butt, Gymnastics MVP; Pete Bonner, Boys' Basketball MVP; Matt Fryback, Swimming MVP; and Garrett Ponciroli, Wrestling MVP.

    The Miami Valley Milk Producers have announced recently that Roger and Emery Rowlands, Rt. 2, Claypool, were winners for quality milk production for 1973.

The Rowlands have been members of the Miami Valley Milk Producers Association for 11 years. Awards have been presented to the Rowlands in 1967, 1969 and 1970 for their production of quality milk by the association.

    Jerry Turner, Warsaw High School junior, really deserves his title as Warsaw's ping-pong king. Jerry won the Boys' Club ping pong tournament last week for the second consecutive year. He also has won high school intramural ping-pong championship two successive times.

    Robert Steinebach, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Steinebach, former Warsawans, now of Nappanee, is establishing an excellent record, winning high honors in a short time in the naval training station at Hampton Roads, Va.

He enlisted in the Navy Nov. 6, leaving Warsaw a short time later for Hampton Roads, where he took a short course in recruit training. [[In-content Ad]]
