    Warsaw Community High School students responded to the question, "Is it ethical for the press to expose the private lives of political/famous personalities?"

Susie Hite (junior) - "Yes, because if they're going to be our leaders, and their past is going to affect us, then we should know. Because they should be an example to us." Rory Callagh (junior) - "Yes, the press should, because if they're going to help run our communities, then the people should know - as long as the information is factual and not just rumors."

    Lew Kreger, Pierceton, was presented the Blackstone Hustler Award at Indiana Institute of Technology recently for his all-around fine play on the school's varsity basketball team.

Kreger is presently a senior at IIT and led the squad in free throw percentage with an 80.4 mark.

    Six top-grade yearlings from the Roy Blue stock farm, located between Syracuse and Ligonier, have been consigned to the Saratoga horse sale at Saratoga Spring, N.Y. The six animals will be shipped April 10. This is the only consignment from Indiana this year to be sold at the $2-million raceway.

    Several of the Home Making girls of the WHS surprised Goldie Herscher Tuesday evening, it being her 16th birthday, bringing their baskets for a picnic supper. Music, games and ghost stories were enjoyed. Those present were Gladys Yeager, Helen Beard, Sybil Lytel, Dorothy Wiess, Everil Kinsey, Ellen Bartholomew, Elizabeth Risser, Nettie Skinner, Florence Smith and Margaret Dillon.
