First-place winners of the Carnival Poster Contest held recently at Lincoln Elementary School are Dave Sumpter and Tammy Wiles. Other first-place winners were: kindergarten, Ritt Dalton and Terry Carroll; first grade, Angie Slankard and Emily Holbrook; second grade, Sherry Shipley and Jim King; third grade, Brenda Johnson and Greg Shoemaker; fourth grade, Danny Eckert and Tony Hartman; fifth grade, Jill Frush; and sixth grade, Robin Smith.

Warsaw's first city-wide style show was presented Monday night at 8 o'clock at the senior high school auditorium with approximately 800 persons attending. This show, sponsored by the Warsaw-Winona Federation of clubs, was staged by local dress shops and department stores. Mrs. Howard M. Scott and Mrs. Arthur DeWispelaere were co-chairwoman of this attraction.

Russell Shull and George Basile, two Warsaw young men serving in the U.S. Navy at Hampton Roads, Va., returned home on Friday to see Warsaw play basketball at Fort Wayne. They are on 10 days leave. They report that Robert Steinback, Warsaw young man, is studying radio at Hampton Roads.
