    Lifeguards at both Center and Pike lakes will be equipped with portable radios to allow direct contact with police in case of emergencies.

Police hope the radios will enable a quicker response time to any emergency at the parks.

    A recital program of ballet dancers was recently presented in the undercroft of St. Anne's Episcopal Church, West Market Street, under the direction of Deborah Rearick. Participating were Julie Chubb, Ammie Drudge, Kim Whaley, Karen Sadenwater, Kathy Burner, Tammy Johnson, Kristi Burner, Jill Kissell, Miechi Miniear, Jamie Rollings, April Anglin and Tammie Anglin.

    The junior leaders of Kosciusko County 4-H clubs will enjoy an outing Tuesday night June 7, at North Webster, with the main attraction being a ride on the boat Dixie around Webster Lake.

    The Warsaw Gas Company's 95 cent sale of water heaters has put the Warsaw company in the lead in contest with the gas companies of Goshen and Miles, Mich. Manager Keith P. Hankins hopes to establish a better record than either of these two rival towns, although both are larger than Warsaw.
