It didn't take long for Warsaw police Cpl. Bob Long to put his pier in the water, get his boat out and have his first accident. Long, who lives along Winona Lake, got his boat out during the Memorial Day weekend and pulled it up alongside the pier to fuel. As he did so, another boat passed by, creating a wake and shoving Long's boat close to the pier, catching his arm in the process. The result - a broken wrist and a cast for at least six weeks.
