Two local members join more than 500 4-H junior leaders statewide in the 58th Annual State junior leader conference. Kosciusko County's delegates will participate in this Kiwanis International- sponsored event at the Hoosier 4-H Leadership Center near West Lafayette. The junior leaders who were selected to participate this year are Belinda Kinch, Claypool, and Denise Knepper, Warsaw.

Eight students from Wawasee High School have been accepted to travel with Sounds of Hope on the European concert tour during the summer.

A well known summer resident of Winona Lake, Miss Mary Elizabeth White, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald White, received the degree of bachelor of arts at the commencement exercises held at New Jersey College for Women.

Miss Maude Willis, former North Webster reader, will be a headline entertainer at the Winona evening programs. She reads "Mary Jane's Pa." Miss Willis is a sister of Mrs. Alta Kline, formerly of Warsaw.
