Ed Severns, of down near Palestine, tells us he's been taking the Warsaw paper ever since he was married more than 25 years ago. An uncle started Ed and his wife off with a year's subscription for a wedding present and they have kept right on subscribing.

(Note - It's June, the month of brides, and we won't turn down any business like Ed's uncle gave us 25 years ago. Glad to take your money, boys.)

A temperature of 84 degrees, felt because of the humidity, brought out all available electric fans in Warsaw today and caused many a bathing suit to be shaken loose from the moth balls. One year ago today the mercury stood at the same figure, 84, at 11 a.m. Hot weather fans were arguing whether it would reach 90 or take a drop this afternoon.
