    In a Senior Pony League game Thursday, the Cardinals beat the Dodgers 19-5 as Jason Juliam led the way with two triples and a double and Jason Haines had a pair of doubles for the winners.

    Harris Wright recorded a hole-in-one at Rozella Ford Golf Club over the weekend on the par-3, 138-yard five hole.

Wright was using an 8-iron and was playing in the company of Marge Wright, Shirley Clay, Marv Clay and Lance Clay. It was the second ace of the season at Rozella as Tony Staley also accomplished the feat during a high school golf match last month.

    Scores of Warsaw children are being given employment in onion fields of Kosciusko County, the weeding season being at hand. One grower came to Warsaw at 6:30 a.m. today and conveyed a score of children to his place to weed the onion fields.
