One of Warsaw's finest showed his stuff at South Shore Golf Course recently with a hole-in-one on the seventh hole. Patrolman Eric Coburn shot the ace and was awarded a gold putter from South Shore Golf Course for the "one in a million" shot. As we understand, the rest of Coburn's game didn't go quite as well.

Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Eherenman of Burket recently hosted a buffet supper in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Oskar Schubert of Frankfurt, Germany. The Schuberts were guest teachers in the Burket area three years ago.

Flip Phillips amusing friends with his trick bow tie wired to flash green lights off and on. Nothing like advertising, said Flip, who sells electrical equipment.

J.E. Beyer, of Winona Lake, today sold to Owen W. Wiard and his son a wedge-shaped piece of ground lying immediately south of the Pennsylvania tracks, between the Pennsylvania viaduct and the Polk road viaduct, on the north side of the road, for a consideration of $4,000. It is understood that Mr. Wiard will erect a building to be used as an auto service station.
