He's only the third dentist in the history of Silver Lake, so it's only appropriate that Jerry Landwerlen, DDS, brings a sense of history that his antique-filled office reflects. Landwerlen and his wife, Susie, did all the interior work themselves in the former service station. It is still a filling station of sorts.

Warsaw Tiger basketball coach Ike Tallman appeared at the Grace College basketball camp and brought three '72-'73 Tiger cagers with him. Preparing to put their skill into action, were Larry Richardson, Dave Kissel and Rod Wildman.

Wednesday morning the mercury dropped to 46, which, gentle reader, is a measly 14 degrees above freezing. Such a thing in mid-July decidedly ain't good for the crops or the summer trade, but it makes sleeping good and the bugs stay in hiding.

Eleanor Jeanne DeBose, little daughter of Mrs. Lucy DuBose, and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest A. Ford of East Main Street, was filmed at the Famous Players Lasky Co. in Indianapolis and was accepted by the company. They will go to California where Eleanore Jeanne will be given her part. She is 2 years old.
