Runners-up in the contest were Scott Trowbridge, son of Jane Trowbridge, and April Thomas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Thomas.

Mrs. Warren Froh, of near Pierceton, entertained at a party Friday afternoon in honor of her small son, Tommy, who celebrated his third birthday on July 4. Ice cream, frosted animal cookies and limeade were served to the little guests: Johnny Stouffer, Bobby and Tamara Menzie, Carolyn and Becky Gebert, Johnny Noble, Lynn Beebe and Jimmy Froh.

Mrs. Lunquist several days ago lost $15 in money. There was a $10 bill and a $5 bill. She advertised in an effort to recover her money and $25 was returned. A small boy, carrying newspapers, found a $10 bill in the west part of the city. It was at first thought this was part of Mrs. Lunquist's lost money and it was returned to her. Later the money was returned by another party and the $10 was returned to the boy.
