    NORTH MANCHESTER - Four local students are active in the Participation Players, a traveling theater group from Manchester College.

The theater group includes Jennifer Gibson, daughter of James and Carol Gibson, Claypool; Shawn Kobb, son of Ken and Millie Kobb, Nappanee; Amy Rock, daughter of Ivan and Mary Rock, Tippecanoe; and Jason Tillotson, son of Dennis Tillotson and Morene Tillotson, both of Nappanee.

    Warsaw Elks Lodge 802 has named Leah Marie Allman as December Teenager of the Month. Leah, 17, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Allman, Warsaw, is a senior at Warsaw Community High School.

She is an Honor Roll student and plans to attend the University of Northern Iowa and will major in accounting.

    The Warsaw Post Office this year set a new high in postage revenue, Postmaster Frank O. Rarick revealed.

Rarick listed 1956 revenue at $231,719.22, which us $6,679.85 more than the 1955 total of $225,039.37.

    The annual report of the Warsaw and Wayne Township library submitted to the library board of trustees at its January meeting showed the past year to have been the largest in the history of the local library, a total circulation of 95,349 books was reported for the year 1931. This number showed a gain of 60,301 over a period of 10 years.
