    When Dr. Charles and Jackie Hollar attended the movie "Hoosiers" at the Center Center Theater in Warsaw Friday night, it was the ninth time they've seen the film. There's a big reason, of course, they keep going back - their son, Steve Hollar, stars in the film.

    Henry H. Beck of Gainsville, Fla., has donated $200,000 to Rodeheaver Boys Ranch for Homeless Youths at Palatka, Fla. Jim and Ruth Rodeheaver Thomas, along with the late Homer Rodeheaver, Ruth's brother, all former Winona Lake residents, founded the boys ranch.

    Wayne Outcelt, formerly one of Warsaw High School's most brilliant all around athletes, has announced the arrival of a brand new four-place Stinson airplane which will be demonstrated at the Rochester Airport as soon as fair weather permits. Wayne is manager of the Rochester Flying Service.

    The new year received a quiet welcome in Warsaw. The ringing of one large bell, the firing of a few revolver shots and a few loud whoops by celebrants ushered the year in. There was no hilarity whatever on the streets in the business district.
