J.A. Heck, sober and with no thought of levity, told of big snowballs having been rolled by the wind during the snow storm of Monday.

The wind was blowing a gale, and the snow was soft and sticky. He said the wind would gather a bit of snow, and start it rolling, and it would gather snow as it gather speed.
