Nancy, pretty wife of handsome Robbie Gast (Freewheelin', West Center Street, Warsaw), recently received a well-deserved plaque from the local Chamber of Commerce for her work with the Chamber on home shows and other projects. She and Rob are always busy, not only at Freewheelin', but with Scouting, skiing and biking. Two real great young business people who work as hard as they play.

Mrs. Joe Paxton was the winner of an old-fashioned spelldown held at the home of Mrs. Dayton Paxton, West Center Street, by members of the Ida Jane Weaver Club.

Due to the fact that the Silver Lake School was late in opening this fall, as the building was not ready for occupancy at the regular term opening, the trustee of Lake Township and the principal last Saturday put into effect a program of a six-days-a-week school to make up for lost time.
