John Sadler, president of the board of directors of the Mental Health Association of Kosciusko County, awarded Volunteer of the Year certificates to Sara and Louis Wolfe. Both Mr. and Mrs. Wolfe began volunteer services in 1980. Louis donates time driving consumers to therapy sessions. His wife donates time to pre-school and primary age children in therapy.

More than 50 churches in Kosciusko County will work together during the month of March to distribute copies of the Key 73 Bible portions to every home. The Key 73 effort is to present a unified witness of the Christian faith.

Trooper Wallace Manrow, 1006 E. Center St., Warsaw, who is attached to the Ligonier state police post, is attending a refresher school at the department's Indianapolis headquarters this week, according to Col. Robert Rossow, superintendent. The school is part of a long-range program to provide better service to Hoosier citizens.

Fred Wonderly, Claypool, drew up his trusty rifle a few days ago at the Lee Pottenger farm to kill a cow which he intended to butcher. The wise old bovine, scented the danger, sidestepped and galloped away around a corner and has not been seen or caught since.
