    The Warsaw Community Development Corp. has announced the election of John Sadler to its board of directors.

Sadler is a 1982 graduate of Ball State University with a degree in business administration. In 1985, Sadler graduated from the Worsham College of Mortuary Science with honors.

    E. Ross (Pete) Bissell Jr., manager of Hook's Drug Store, Warsaw, and his wife, Sylvia, will be guests of the Parke-Davis Pharmaceutical Co. from Jan. 7 through 10 at Boca Raton, Fla., after being selected as winners in the firm's Myadec merchandising contest.

Bissell won the contest for the second time after independent judges selected his Myadec display.

    Carolyn Baugher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Baugher, of Syracuse, has been pledged to the Iota Chi chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota, national honorary fraternity for women. Baugher is studying music at Ball State Teacher's College, at Muncie, where she is a sophomore, majoring in piano.

    Katheryn Morrison entertained the U-No Club at the home of Mattie Stone, West South Street, last evening. Bessie Sloane was a guest. Games and delicious refreshments constituted a pleasant evening. Those present were Alat Alborn, Hulda Cripe, Omah Miller, Sadie Douglass, Ellsie Sweeny and Virginia Caywood.
