    Warsaw Police Dept. Det. Steve Adang recently attended a continuing education course for computer polygraph testing.

Adang studied alongside federal agents at Fort McClellan, Ala., in a 40-hour training course focusing on computer polygraph testing.

    With the 100-year-old courthouse reflected in its front doors, the new Kosciusko County Justice Building awaits its grand opening in the near future. County officials were given keys to the $5.1 million structure, and hope to have at least some of the offices open by the first of the year.

    Barbara Frush, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Frush, of Warsaw, has been assigned to the State Wing Cadet Advisory Council of Civil Air Patrol with the rank of captain.

Cadets of Indiana squadrons make up the council, give their ideas on the new cadet training program. To be selected for the council, a cadet must have earned the certificate of proficiency, do outstanding work within the squadron and show unusual interest in its activities.

75 Years Ago

December 19 1931

    Warsaw, on Christmas Eve, will pause at 9 p.m. as Carl Weick and Lewis Coyle from the dome of the Kosciusko Court House will play "Silent Night" on trumpets. This act is under the auspices of the Warsaw volunteer fire department, which then will commence the distribution of approximately 200 toys to deserving children of Warsaw.
