A professional model and actress from Bremen is Miss Indiana USA 1987. Alecia Rae, 24, captured the title Sunday over 52 other contestants from throughout the state. She is the daughter of Conrad and Corrinne Masalkeski.

Warsaw Community High School senior Jeff Nicholls added another trophy to his collection when he brought one back last weekend to 2106 Brookview in Warsaw where he lives with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Nicholls. He is a National Merit Scholarship semi-finalists.

6 Hoosier motorists were reminded today that there will be two 1947 license plates to fasten on their autos. Indiana goes back on the two-plate standard effective with the expiration date of the present 1946 plates, Feb. 18.

Ice dealers of Kosciusko county will not be caught napping this winter and have prepared to harvest a crop of ice even if the product is unusually thin. During the past summer Warsaw consumers paid one cent a pound for ice.
