Wawasee High School Marching Band provided some class entertainment for viewers of the Gator Bowl last week in Jacksonville, Fla. About 140 band members and chaperones arrived in Florida Dec. 26 and retired Dec. 30. The band is led by director David Blackwell.

Developing the educational use of a wooded area west of Wawasee High School was approved at the Lakeland Community School Board meeting. The first trail in the woods will have 38 markers identifying points of interest including trees and shrubs. Two other trails will be established.

Pioneering the use of light planes over the Southern American jungles and sky-punching mountains, the Rev. Paul Hartford, head of Victory Sky Pilots, Kosciusko County flying school for missionaries, a few weeks ago delivered a fellow missionary tohis station in jungle country. He also dropped an "air-mail" note attached to a stick for his friend, Robert E. Neighbor.

Ray Henderson, who has charge of the Warsaw automobile license branch, issued more than 100 licenses at the Delco Light store on Monday.
