    Chris Boyd and Patty Warwick recently received certification from the IDEA Foundation Industry. The test is considered the aerobics' equivalent to an attorney's Bar Exam.

    Winona Lake Fire Chief Bruce Howe was truly surprised at the firemen's annual Christmas party. Members of the fire department presented him with an attache case, with a panel of tan cowhide leather inlaid in the lid. The panel was handtooled with Howe's name and a firetruck.

    The sudden end of the coal strike found numerous residents and business men of Warsaw considering the merits of heating equipment which burn other kinds of fuel than coal. Some were just about out of the black stuff, others already loaded wood into their bins.
