    A familiar face to Warsaw Community High School sports fans will soon be operating Kaiser's restaurant in downtown Warsaw. Gordy Clemens, a former basketball standout at WCHS and later at Franklin College, is returning to Warsaw this weekend after living in Australia the past two years. There, he was player-coach in a professional basketball league.

    Captain Stephen E. Yeager, son of Randall G. Yeager of 28 Eagle Drive, was one of 94 students graduated recently from the 62nd Basic Class at The Judge Advocate General's School, U.S. Army, at Charlottesville, Va. The course provided them with an introduction into the many aspects of military legal practice.

Dec. 20 1946

    Unofficially, present county sheriff Frank Lucas, will be appointed deputy by incoming sheriff, Ray Henderson, at the turn of the new year. Henderson, Republican candidate, who defeated Ed Ragan of Warsaw, has acted as sheriff's deputy during the past two years.

    Two Kosciusko county farmers will receive bronze medals from the State Corn Growers Association for raising more than 75 bushels of corn per acre on five acres. J.C. Widman and L.D. Wolfe, of Washington Twonship, raised 75.6 and 80 bushels respectively.
