    Larry Bair was sworn in as a Warsaw School Board member Monday night by board attorney Max Reed. Bair replaces Richard Gallentine, who resigned earlier this year because of a transfer to Illinois at his employment.

    Mayor Paul "Mike" Hodges annouced today that city officials plan to open the limited access road extending into the Lakes Village Shopping Center east of Warsaw late today. The access road, which was left following construction of the new U.S. 30 bypass, will permit vehicles to travel to and from the shopping center without using the new bypass.

    The world's greatest anesthetist is Dr. Emery Andrew "Jack" Rovenstine, aged 52, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.A. Rovenstine, of Atwood. In the past few weeks he has been the subject of most laudatory articles carried in the New York weekly magazine, Life magazine and various Sunday newspaper supplements.
