    Recently, Janice Keeton and her father, Jim, appeared on the nationally-televised "Nashville Now" show hosted by Ralph Emery. Their names were selected from the 400-plus audience members for the interview. During the interview, Janice and her father did their famous "Woody Woodpecker" laugh duet.

    National honors were recently received by the Community Grace Brethren Church of Warsaw at the 85th Annual Conference of the National Fellowship of Brethren Churches which met at Winona Lake.

The Community Grace Brethren Church and Sunday school were awarded a trophy for a 12-month attendance increase of 34.8 percent over the previous year. This increase earned the church Bible school first place in Division D of the national contest between 242 Grace Brethren churches.

    Mrs. Leonard Wolford, Warsaw, delegate to the Indiana Farmers' Association convention in Lafayette, was elected state district director. Also attending were Mrs. Sam Lowman and Mrs. Jenny Bennett, both of Warsaw, past state presidents; and Mrs. Howard Hines, of Warsaw, who was re-elected financial secretary of the state.

    Sukalotski, Indianapolis pitcher who has been sold to the White Sox, has been engaged by manager Joe Basile to pitch for Warsaw against Nappanee here Sept. 7. "We're going to win this one. Believe me, Big Boy," said Bazillicus.
