    The North Winona Church of the Brethren has added Rev. Scott E. Turskey as a second full-time staff member.

Turskey was recently installed as the church's first associate pastor. A graduate of Ashland Seminary, he has held pastorates at Elkhart and Medine, Ohio.

    Mike Jones, Rt. 1, Claypool, received five places in the Holstein dairy competition including top showman, according to Indiana State Fair officials.

Besides the top spot in showmanship, Jones placed in the junior calf, senior calf, senior yearling and the 2-year-old cow divisions.

    Thirty-two Warsaw Daily Times carriers will be guests Sunday at the double-header baseball games between the Chicago White Sox and world champion Cleveland Indians at Chicago's Comiskey park. The 32 carriers met the qualifications in a recent subscription contest, sponsored by the paper's circulation department.

    Marion McClellan will arrive home today from Chicago University, where she has been pursuing summer studies. She will be an instructor this year in the high school at Beaver Dam. Last year she taught in the Warsaw grades.
