Mrs. Roy Stoneburner, of Dutchtown, is now more than ever convinced that a goat has an abnormal appetite for articles not strictly upon an animal food menu.

After Mrs. Stoneburner visited the mail box, she brought forth the mail, consisting of letters and other enclosures. Having occasion to look into the chicken-coop, she laid the mail on the ground and placed a board over it to keep it from blowing away. When her back was turned, along came the goat. The animal, nosing about, pushed the board weight from the pieces of mail and ate every article the mail-man had brought. It is reported that on the goat's menu was an envelope in which was a cream check for $9.99. [[In-content Ad]]
