    Kay Sparks, of North Webster, will be featured on "The Home Show" at 11 a.m. Tuesday on ABC affiliates. She is the first female auctioneer at Shipshewana, and was filmed Wednesday while working in the small town.

    Two holes-in-one were recorded at the Tippecanoe Lake Country Club Golf Course by a Warsaw man and a Syracuse woman.

Lois Xanders, Syracuse, collected her ace in the morning on the number eight par 3, 132-yard green; and in the afternoon, Wendell Sadler, Warsaw, dropped his ace on the 186-yard par 3, number three hole.

    On Aug. 19, Mr. and Mrs. Ned Godfrey, of 307 W. Prairie St., will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey are the parents of four children, including William and Joan, of this city, three granddaughters and a grandson.

    Two frame houses on the Oldfather lots, 419 and 421 S. Buffalo St., are to be moved 12 feet south of their present location and improved. The work of moving the houses was started today by Ora Shoemaker.
